We are
Fred and Johnnie Walker, we Viewed Kergal back in
August 2007, while visiting our friends ‘The Jacksons’. Who had
taken the plunge a year earlier.
We
finally purchased the Fermette in April 2008,
after a few fraught moments, and have been slowly renovating and modifying
it for the last three years.
It
is still an uphill struggle combining work back in the UK and using our
holidays and any snatched weekends to do the renovation.
Kergal is situated
in the middle of Brittany, near to Lac Guerluaden,
and other interesting sites.
It
nestles in 2.5 acres of it’s
own grounds mostly as orchard, which each year we produce Cider using
equipment that was in one of the barns, when we arrived.
